hey i was just wondering, do most of the members on the board have their dogs ears clipped or natural? all of mine are natural although I think a good cropping can look very nice.

Ear cropping to me is part of the tradition and the dog looks more alert.

Natural ears look fine to me as long as they have a nice head

Both of mine are natural, but I think cropped would have looked better on my girl!

Hi everyone I'm new at the forum and I have a question. I have a presa canario that Im madly in love with. He is 3 months and extremely handsome. when I received him he had his ears cropped. But it seems that only one will stay up alert. what do you suggest? Do you think I should tape that one ear up for a while longer? Or is he too old...

nope, is not too late, infact many dogs are cropped after their first vaccination series which sometimes is up to 3.4-4 mo...so tape it right and be patient...unless theear is damaged it will rise and shine:D

Half are with cropped ears and half with natural :)
I like cropped more itīs more "genuine" look for Presa, but because itīs illegal in Finland to crop ears i just have to go with natural....
