I cannot keep Diablo in a wire crate any longer. He has BENT the metal on all sides and broken off peices. It's pretty imperssive to see him ruin a metal wire crate so easily. And shamelesly expensive. I am thinking of this one:

However, I cannot get a good look at the locking device. Any advice is greatly appreciated. I think he actually enjoys breaking everything I put him in. Little bastard...

Get an Aluminum Dog Box. I see some are advertised on the same page. Google "Dog Box" You can do some comparison. Can double as an in home crate for transporting in a vehicle. I prefer a more enclosed crate/box for inside the house, keeps hair inside the crate and doesn't let it spread all over. I have a room I am putting down a high commercial grade linoleum, Im lazy like to make things easy clean up.
A little pricey, especially if your boy is large.

Regarding crate size, how "long" does a grown Presa turn out? Diablo is only 6 mos.

Measured my male lying down on the floor-nose to hocks (they extend beyond the butt when the dog's lying on the side) - 53". But he is sorta a big boy. Go with the largest crate they got-you can always set partitions but will spend much more money if the dog outgrows the crate.

Less expensive, made of steel, so it will more than likely will be heavier.
galvanized and powder coated. You have to do your own floor.
