Crate feeding

SO who here feeds their dog in their crates?? Is this a bad idea?

I don't know if it is a bad or good idea but I have always fed mine in their crate. The only thing that I have notice as a negative is that they do tend to be a little food agressive if fed outside with other dogs. Not toward people just other dogs. Just my experince though. I too would love to hear comments from others.

I have heard lots of people say they feed their dogs in their crates. I don't see anything wrong with it if your dogs can't be trusted to eat "free", or to teach a dog that being in the crate is a "good thing".
I have never had a need to nor do I leave their crates set up once they mature.... except fot my GSD's crate on the sun porch. She likes to lay in it because it's cooler out there in the winter, but it's getting removed when I remodel that room.
