In Sweden there was a pitbull that attacked the owner when they where out walking. The owner had the dog for 3 days.

People heard him screem and they tried to help by hitting the dog with ironpoles and a baseball bat.

The police arrived and they sprayed pepperspray all over the dog because he was aggressiv. This made the dog more aggressive and they wanted to shoot the dog.

15 bullets in 10 seconds and the final shot killed the dog..

THIS way makes me sooooo angry :toomad: :toomad: :toomad:

I guess we know why the prior owner got rid of it. Sad. :bite:

Nothing else about this story, is more amazing than this, LOL:

15 bullets in 10 seconds and the final shot killed the dog..

Why is it that cops everywhere can't shoot, much less shoot to kill??

This is a one shot problem, two at the most, LOL.

I remember years ago the USA's nation statistic for cops was 1 death for every 26 shots fired ....................... 26 shots!!!!

Do you want to know what the national average was for house wives?

One death for every 3 shots fired.

As to the dog and dog owner ............... I guess, that last "pop" with the leash, for pulling on the lead was his last, LOL.

It would be interesting to know the history of this dog and the experience of the "3 day owner".

Everyone remember, while this "pit" was damaging its owner, 1 GSD, 2 golden retreivers and 3 mix breeds probably did the same thing, but we'll never hear about those breeds.

i hope these policemen are not hunters or they would be done for cruelty (1 shot 1 kill) it seems another owner not understanding the dog. if he had it only 3 days what was he expecting to go to the park and play ball.

In defense of Policeman vs Wives.. Policeman dont shoot people while sleeping.. much easier when your "prey" is not moving!!

Dennis, the women were shooting burglars and intruders, criminals, not their husbands or boyfriends.

I'm thinking most cops don't shot to kill, they shot to physical stop the suspect, so they can take them into custody for crimes commited.

Big up's to all they ladies out there who know how to handle a gun and shot to kill. :ok:

I thought they were only suppsed to draw their guns in the presence of deadly force, in which case they would shoot to kill.... wouldn't they?
I know when I took a couple combat handgun courses we were taught to shoot to kill because dead people can't stand trial ;) You know, it my word against the dead guy's :D

That said, my neighbor just became a full time cop a year ago in the little town where I live. A couple weeks ago he was called to a domestic violence disturbance and ended up shooting (once) a drugged up boyfriend threatening everybody with a knife. The kid is in the hospital in critical care, but still alive. You would think standing in a room with your gun already drawn would lead to a one shot it's over, but in the heat of the moment who knows....

Most policemen aren't good enough marksmen to be willing to gamble their (own) life in that way.

i think we're drifting away from the fact that instead of humanely (one shot one kill as i don't suppose they were thinking about taking this poor animal in to custody) but torturing him by putting 15 holes in him causing immense pain rapists, pedophiles, murders don't get treated like that so why should that dog be shot to pieces when it could have been taken out quickly and cleanly if that was the only option.

gun ho policemen should keep them in their holsters if they can't use them properly.

practice and practice and one day you might hit something

I'm thinking that no matter what I say, there will be those that will comment vice versa to the effect. The cops I know all have to take a profiency shoting test every 6 months. If they fail, they are suspended until they can pass, I believe with 85% or more.

In that case you would be wrong. My disagreement has nothing to do with who you are. Please take the time to read this.
