What can i do to help my pups ears stand more higher on her head. The vet did a good job but i want her ears more closer together. Is there any thing i can do or tell my vet to do.

Nothing short of plastic surgery. Cut and remove the skin between the ears on top of the head/skull, restitch both sides together and you will have your desired earset.

Are the actual ears standing, and she just doesn't put them close together?

Put a picture up of your dog, so we can see this?

My dogs only put their ears together when they are interested in something. Just like pits that put their ears on top of their head.

Each dog holds their ears different.

Not real sure what you are talking about,

Sam

Omen06,

Who are you?

A quick look at the main subject matter of your posts, consists of:

A. Infatuation with the size of Zulu and Ironbull dogs.
B. Hair growing on your dog's belly?????????????????
C. A general lack of understanding of common dog related issues.
D. Why your female will not breed with a male?

My guess, you are quite ignorant of dogs, against your own and probably other's better judgement you got a presa. You definiantly are wanting or did breed this dog and you don't know beans about them or dogs in general.

How am I doing?

Sam

gee Sam did ya wake up on the wrong side of the bed
All the person did was ask a question and you cop an attitude. Whats wrong with you is your penis smaller than everyone elses and you have to call people names to make yourself feel better, they do have penis pumps ya know....
omen06 sorry wish I could help you in your situation but I cant.

Slammin Sammy doesn't need me to stick up for him, but I thought his first post hit the nail on the head. Whatdaya mean closer together? Do you mean more upright? I mean, the ears are only going to be as close as the size of the head allows....

Oh, and the only reason I come here is to read Sam's responses :ok:

I agree, with you guy's I am and do come down on some people, but this is a public forum and it is about presas and the breed, and if Omen06 has a presa or presas, and obviously plans on breeding his dogs, or he already did, then I would like to get to know who it is exactly, that I am suppose to help.

This person clearly, clearly has no business with this breed. Their motive is again clearly, clearly based on nothing but the looks of the dog, and this latest question proves my point. If you are so ignorant that you think you can change the earset of your dog............ words fail me now, LOL.

If you don't believe me click on Omen06's name or post number and read his posts, there aren't many, each and everyone is a treasure.

It is one thing to simply asks dumb questions, but to help this person is to help a future, if not present, """""""""""""""""""""""""breeder""""""""""""""""""""""""""" who lacks so much in the way of knowledge of simple dogs, for starters, much less presas.

And we are to help him impregnant his dog and change earsets???????????

I guess, I don't get it!!

This person is so unqualified to own a presa it's frightening. I would love to hear the story about how Omen06 ever got a dog. It is a sad story, I'm sure. But since I could very well be wrong, and if I am I will admit it, mark my words.

Omen06, on any forum concerning most any subject or topic, people get to know each other, your the new guy here. Why don't you tell us a little about your presas and their stories. That way we can better help you.

So since, I might be wrong, answer these simple questions and enlighten us on who you and who your presas are. For the sake of the breed, I hope to God, I am completely wrong.

How many presas do you have?

How old is the presa you had cropped?

How old is the female presa you were trying to breed?

Is it the same dog?

Who did you take your female to, to get bred?

Who did you get your presa/s from?

What is your previous experience and knowledge of dogs or pets in general?

Now, grandmama, we can leave the penises out of the conversation and keep it to dogs if you want to, but if you want to talk about penises on a public, family viewed forum PM me, but I must warn you, since you are a grandmama, it just might stay little around you.

My guess, is "grandmama" if you truly care about this presa breed. You will be just as interested in the answers to these questions as most everybody else is at this point.

Here is an example of why we need to get to know someone before we extent a helping hand sometimes. Just read Omen06's post and it could be quite clearly assumed (although it could be incorrect) that this individual was trying to breed a female that would just come into heat at around 8-9 months or at 12-13 months, do the math.

Grandmama, should we help people like that?

Because, I could, tell him how to get that dog bred, but should I??????

Prove me wrong, please, it keeps me humble, LOL.

My presa has not gone into heat for about 8-9 months now. I've been to the vet and he didnt tell me anything helpfull. Is there anything i can do to help her come around. Thanks for your advice!

Why couldn't a vet tell you anything "helpful", what did you want to hear? Seriously, answer that question. The vet was probably trying to figure out a way to neuter your dog to save the breed from people like you, I could be wrong though.

(fast forward, 1 day ................. remember 1 day later, he asks)

------------------------------------

I took female to the stud house this morning and they would not mate. It will be her 14th day in heat tommarow. He tried to mount her a couple of time but she really just wanted to play with him rather than get it on. Then after a while he pretty much gave on her himself. Is there any thing that i can do to help her mate with him or some thing to make him try harder to get her. Do you think i should put a muzzle on her and hold her still while he mounts her and does his thing. She not aggressive just playful. They were urinating alot around each other also while they were around each other.

Omen, be proud of who your are, and dammit, be proud of your dog/s and answer these very easy questions. Show us pictures, join our family, heck, come visit me.

Just here to help .................... the breed,

Sam
