A fun day at the park ( PICTURES )

It was a very tough week for me but things will be better. Sunday was the highlight for me. Sancho and I met up with Eve de Sancho and Brian, Byron and Wags de Sancho, at the park. These dogs are all very dog aggressive so it was impossible to get a loving family picture. Here are some pictures taken. Peelio, whats the dealio ? you didn`t send me any pics of Eve or that nice one with Brook ? Since none of the pictures of Eve made it I will post the one taken a few weeks ago for comparison. What does everybody think ? Sam, Wags is the alpha male that you saw when you were over at the house picking up Zona. More pictures to come, maybe. The fawns of this look almost exactly like each other and their mom Leona. ( Sancho X Playa de Irema Curto)

hey Dave all the pups are very consistant looking. Can you tell me about their toplines , they seem too level....

Todd, that is an excellent question, I noticed when I was looking at the pictures. Leona has an excellent topline and so did Sancho as a young dog. As he ages I have noticed that it seemed to invert and his spine stands out no matter what. Leona is the mother of this litter and she is almost identical to Nisa, who is at TOPNOTCH. The only thing that I can think of is that when they are this ripped ( conditioned) the have no weight below and the topline does not sag into that saddle and ascending appearance. All of my other puppies are in "normal condition" and they have very nice toplines. I noticed when Sancho is at 125 vs 115 his topline looks very different and has all his life during weight fluctuations.

In that picture of "wagsside" his legs are behind him and he is level so if they were under him, he would "ascend".

I went into my files, to get a picture of Zona's correct topline and, well, I can't get one, LOL. Because every picture she is standing with one or more legs behind her or to the side or something. But does have a correct topline, maybe I will video her, then at some point in time she will be standing normal.

In my "lotsas pic...." post, that is one of the first pics of her laying down, I think, that is a very rare shot of her. She is difficult to take pictures of.

So your best friend had a nice family day at the park... Sancho must have felt proud seeing his nice and athletic looking kids doing so well. It was good to see their pics.

The pups look like they are maturing well. Waggs in particlar I like his head and he seems very athletic. I really like this breed around 100-115 they seem to be more athletically versatile at this weight and still have enough strength and power...IMHO. (Although I know there are much heavier Presa's with excellent athletic ability before I get flamed)
