Does anyone out their have pick eaters? I have always bought the best dog food I can find for them. I always get a dog food high in omega fatty acids due to the long coats they have to help keep them in great shape. I also try mix two differant kinds of foods together (Same Brands) one fish and one meat. It seems like they only like the chitty foods on the market. Does anyone out their have any ideas? Craig
I have fed the following:
-Natures Reciepe (Eat Now) Fish/Potato & Venison/Rice mixed 50/50
-Flint River Ranch
-Diamond
-Authority Harvest Baked
-TimberWolf Organics Wild
-Eukanuba Performance

By constantly changing your dogs food and catering to their whims you are creating picky eaters.
Pick a complete food and stick with it. Put it down for ten minutes twice a day. If your dog doesn't eat, it doesn't eat.
A healthy dog will not starve itself to death. Almost all dogs are overweight anyways- a fast might not be a bad thing :ok: .

I don't change overnight, the foods listed have been over a 6 year period. I stopped using a couple cause I can't get anymore, and Diamond because of the recall. So next suggestion please Genevieve or anyother person... TY Craig

Just pick a good brand and stick with it. I like Innova Evo personally. It comes in regular, Reduced Fat, and Red Meat. My dog absolutely loves it, it is all human grade ingredients, and she looks great on it. It also comes in cans.

1. Go to Wal-mart.
2. Buy a bag of Ole Roy, don't even get the brown bag, get the "chitty", red bag.
3. Put some in their bowl, once a day.
4. Repeat step three daily if bowl is empty.
5. If bowl is not empty, rest your arm and lower back that day, and repeat step 3 the following day.
5. Don't spend another minute worrying about what a poor dog wants for supper.
6. Spend extra time with family and send extra money to the starving indians in South America.
My suggestion,
Sam
