Id like to breed Elijah to this bitch. Pics and maybe a few vids (if the "Boss" will allow) coming.
Very nice girl. not slow and bulky, could use to lose a few pounds though.

She is fantastic ! Nice obedience, drive, focus, bite, speed and courage.
They all can`t do it at this level, but when you see one who can , it is pure enjoyment,

I PM`d Arcadio and this is what he told me about this nice bitch Lana
My bitch Lana comes from the Curto Line (paternal). Her mother was imported from Spain 10 years ago.

Arcadio, I hope you don`t mind if I ask a few questions.
At what age do you start your dogs in training for their working titles and what activities do you do at this time ?
What "lines" are your five month old pup from ?
How long will you train to attain a Shutzhund 3 ?
Thank you !

We already begin to educate the puppies. Certainly with play.
My 5 month old puppy comes from the nord of Spain (Pamplona). He have all the makings for a good Schutzhund. He is very self confident and has nerves of steel. His father orginate from majorero lines and like his forefathers he will be worked traditional on beefs.
An elusive male who bequest his character and hardness perfektly. Probably I will breed with him and Lana. I`m looking forward to the puppies.
It´s difficult to say how long you have to work for a Schutzhund 3. It depends on our dog and how intensively you work. With Lana I made BH (Begleithund) when she was 18 month old and with 2 years Schutzhund 1 (a=92 /b=88 /c=96). If you are working constantly it is possible to make SchH 3 with 3 years- more or less.
Now I will breed with my Lana. Accordingly I will make a Körung with her.
If it´s possible at the German Malinois Club (DMC e.V.). This is one of the hardest official examination.

I dont think that anyone can argue that these guys are not at the top of the pyramid when it comes to Presa Breeders, they are and kudos to the Curto side of the line as well as where Lana's father came from, the video was quite nice. This is a kennel/breeder that has earned respect.
The question I would have is, is that young dogs can be taught sport and it is all a fun and games how long in your estimation does it take a Presa to mature and harden up and take protection very seriously compared to other breeds.

She's awsome. although I can't see why she would have to loose any weight, but maybe if ASTERBULL gets lucky enough to be deemed worthy of Elijahs semen they'll put her on a strict diet asap:D. just kiddin, but seriously a very nice dog. alot of work has been invested in her, congrats Arcadio.........

Wonderful Video, She is a beautiful dog. Congrads on all the titles on her.
Nito is a very nice looking male and looks like by the photos he is coming along nicely as well. Best of luck with him too.
Are you planning on working your other two Chili and Mira as well?
Love to see video of Nito working
Best of luck and thanks Dave for posting the video

:D Laughs, Touche.... but seriously, the reason I keep my dogs on the thin side is because it is healthier for them, less weight on joints important in my mind for larger dogs.
I am sure Asturbull has access to real good males, but I can dream can't I? Im beginning to shop for a female now. I feed them a 80/20 mix of raw beef with organ meat and Black Gold, the stuff that comes in the vaccum bag, just do not overfeed them, works out well.

these seem to be very serious pp breeders. the dogs have really got it! they look like they could achieve titling before 3 years old....i guess their own breeding program is fantastic

The are very serious Presa Breeders period, no need to qualify "PP" Breeders, and by the way Shutzhund is Sport and not PP. They are not taking short cuts saying training is not necessary so let's just crank out puppies and make money. They are not lazy and not sitting on their ass not doing anything with their dogs. This is the way a Professional Breeder should be and I salute them. If I bought a dog from a Professional Breeder I would ONLY buy a dog from a Professional Breeder that is paying the right dues and doing very good by the Breed. Not lazy little jerks who do nothing with their dogs but feed, water and let them pro-create.
I would never want to be a Professional Breeder, dont have the time for it. Will still be a time before I have another litter again. One in five years is enough, and when I breed again the goal will be to have another dog for myself to train.

I really like the movie ...that's what I want to do with my Presa in the future...when i find a good breeder...;)I now train that way with my American Bulldogs.....but i think a presa is better suited for that kind of training then an American Bulldog......at least when i find one with good working spirit that is...

Thank you very much for the comments. Right in Germany it is not easy to work with the presas on the official way. You are not always gladly seen with this race and during examinations for example you will be often disadvantaged. But with my presas I managed to convince with achievement and letting some Malinois , German Shepards and Rottweiler behind me.
In the future I will achieve still more with my dogs. My young male Nito has an amazing potential which surprised me. The people offered me much money for Nito and the police is also interested in him. My destination is SchH3 and if possible the qualification to the German championship. The way is very hard but nothing is impossible.
For me the presa canario is a perfect working dog and anyway the hardest of all.
And by the way, sorry for my english. It could be better.
