Hey Daryl, Argos is looking great. It is hard to believe that they are only 8 turning 9 months old.
Here are a couple of Goda , Argos sister.

Hey guys,
is goda from same litter as argos? and is it safe to say goda is heavier and thicker than argos is it just the pics? argos looks pretty typical of the males produced by minos and pharus and exhibit that long lanky look. is that the look you are still breeding for?

from what i observed, todd's males take more after minos...some females takes after pharus, some after minos...but in my opinion, goda resembles pharus in structure whereas her 'essence' is unmistakably minos's...look at her expression, she has a typical 'curto's' expression that spells intensity...it'll really be interesting to track her progress
the rest i'll leave to todd to elaborate :D

what the hell are you talking about? Find me a 8 MONTH male presa canario that is so thick that it makes Argos look lanky and thin.
Argos is a 8 MONTH OLD, i think he is looking pretty thick. Goda is about 25 lbs lighter than him.

Hey Todd,
by long and lanky I did not mean in any negative way...maybe I was expecting the answer to be that they fill out slower or take longer to grow. Long and lanky as opposed to short and stubby I guess. As in long lanky basketball players instead of short stocky rugby players. Most on this board have expressed that long and lanky tend to mean functional. Doesn't the standard call for more length anyway? Like I said, the pics can be deceiving sometimes. I just remember you saying you were going for more bone in your future programs. As far as really thick 8 month olds go, yes I honestly have seen some thicker 7 month males. And so what does that prove anyway? Sometimes I walk away from those asking myself if those were even real presas.
Anyway, I think I brought this up because one of minos daughters recently re-sold for 7 G's here in Vancouver. The same broker came over to see Brando and while I was telling him how he'd fill out of his lankiness he told me he'd sell for 10 G's and I almost fell off my chair. I still think he was pulling my leg though. I'm planning to tell him to go for it and he can have half the profit.
Hey just for the record I still think Minos and Pharus and pups look great as is. So no hard feelings man.

argos was weighed yesterday and was 108lbs. as most presa owners know its hard to get a really good picture of our dogs. i will post better pics of him if i ever get one.
argos will surely be your typical presa as that is what I wanted. i looked all over the internet for good breeders and short of going right to the curto kennel i think you would be hard pressed to find better presa's in north america as the ones out of lexa estate. i would not consider brando's presa anything special just a nice looking dog and thats just my opinion. it takes years for a dog to develop and if argos turns out to be half the dog minos is the time, effort and money will be well worth it .thanks for the comments.
