and I'm sorry! Not that anybody would miss me, right? Being that I'm new? LOL
Anyway, if any of you recall, I had a Presa "dumped" on me over Labor Day weekend, and, at first, I wasn't sure whether or not we were going to keep her, mainly because of my Jack Russel.
I am SOOOO glad we've decided to make her my house home. She LOVES it there, she's gaining her confidence back (even though she's only five months old, she's had a rough beginning), and she and my JRT are getting along GREAT! Jas does have a bit of a habit of chasing my JRT a little bit too much, wanting to grab her as Petey (JRT) runs past her, but...thank goodness JRT's are quick on the getaway. I'm not too worried about Jas right now as she's just a puppy and is playing, but...we'll just have to watch her down the road.
The socialization is going VERY well. I bring her into stores with me, bring her around my neighbors, and she just LOVES everybody. Everybody adores her, too. Nobody can get past that sweet face of hers, those eyes, that underbite (which I think is just so adorable), and those floppy cheeks!
She's filling out a little bit, too, as she was a bit on the thin side for a puppy when I got her. I'm happy to say that she's gained about ten pounds already, and is still growing.
