To be frank, I like the cropped look. But it is illegal here, as docking tails.
We have Rotties with tails, Dobies with tail and ears, Yorkshires with tail etc.
I like the rotties having a tail, looks great!
The judges I think are used to it now. I had a Spanish judge last month and he loved my bitch. She has ears.
As well I think it helps the breed in developing nice ears and a good set of the ears, because you can see them.
The Dobies here mostly have to thin, whip like curled tail. Very ugly! By making docking illegal, I'm sure the quality of the tail will improve.

The ears make it so hard (for me at least) to make a good judgement. I'm used to cropped ears. When I went to my breeder's kennel, he had only one female (also a fawn) with natural ears.. makes them look totally different! So yeah it does give a more mastiff-y look. The dog looks a little overweight perhaps though. :D Been eating good!

As well the sandy colour makes them look more Mastiff.
But I prefere the Mastiff look, thats true. I think its better than the Pittbull look.

He is at this moment 24 inches........not to tall no? His weight is 43 kg, not to heavy no?
I finished his puppy course with the highest score, not that bad no?



He looks exactly like Brutus, the Presa canario that lived in our village La Quinta. I thinks he looks pretty ok :D

I dont prefer the Mastiff look, If I wanted a Mastiff look I would buy a Mastiff, if I wanted a pit bull I would buy a pit bull, I like the Presa Canario look!!!

He is a good looking boy however.

P.S. I dont care for all fawn. like brindle.

BUT after that pic of Asano and the pic of the other fawn puppy.... that could be changing some!!!
