Took the Sisters to the vet today, all got a clean bill of health, and only one peed on the doc :P

a fine pic of Bess, I think. you can see how much milk she's producing but what a nice tuck she still has..

Four, she looks the most like Bess in her markings, but very black, she was first to open her eyes

this is Five, she's gentle and sweet but can still put up a struggle, second smallest

Six, my Fawn. that nose will turn black. she's my runt, but has a lot of attitude

and Ms. Seven.

let me tell you, I'm not worried about that little blemish of hers, because in a lot of ways she is my favorite.

She was a surprise at birth, I'd changed the bedding and got everyone settled and suddenly out pops Seven. She was third biggest by two weeks, second biggest today; 3.5 lbs. at 14 days . She was the first to walk. First to escape the whelping box. She walks perfectly, and nobody else does. She sits comfortably, by herself, like an adult dog. She doesn't complain, and always gets the best teat. I love this pup.

Joe, I want to say that Brick is a stunning animal, and that is quite an "udder" on Bess, LOL..

This was a great pairing and this is a litter that has a lot of potential already. Sounds like 7 is going to be a handful... and maybe a keeper :ok:

Are they keeping you up at night or are you finally getting to relax ?
Bessie looks like she has an ample supply of nutrition ! !

hey, yea for the first week they were on the most awful schedule, they fussed and squealed from 12-5 am, then were silent as little mice when I finally gave up and made coffee.

I'm still sleeping in the whelping room but don't really need to anymore, bess is taking good care of them, she knows just when to feed them, I've learned not to interfere.

Bess is eating more and more, the vet says just keep pouring on the food, it'll get worse before it gets better. we'll be trying solid food in another 10 days or so..
