:) Outcast kennels is a small group, which did some research on presa/dogo what ever you wish to call it,temp, drive, and conformation. We all have back ground on breeding and also showing(akc shows). The presa we all liked the dogs look, not a pit nor mastiff but a little both.We beleive the dog should have good conformation, a stable temp, and last a strong drive  The pic's on this forum is of Taboo(bitch gray/brindle)Hammer(male dark/brindle)and last Rico(male reverse/brindle) these are some of our presa's .Our dog are reg ukc and uppcc. Our bloodline is old island one,by the way of Dan at Vulcan Kennel. Please fill free to e-mail me at OUTCASTkennels@aol.com

hi JDC, ,youu have some very nice dogs. they seem very well conditioned, what are your feeding and excersise regements for these dogs?
I also wanted to ask not out od disrespect but curiousity. I really like the reverse brindle male and also the female. I am not fond of the head type of the male second from the bottom photo(i think Hammer). what is your opinion, compared to the reverse brindel? I have seem this "look before", and also was not impressive to me.
thanks.

Yes I did mean second from the top. Again , not trying to be rude, just a critical opinion.

:) First of all I feed a food called Verus with chicken and veggies mixed.I also walk them a lot but the build of them is a natural look  .Far as Hammer's look I fill the same way.We purchase for his bloodline to do one line bred litter to Taboo.Taboo's parents looked very close to the both of them.Hopefully we can get that same look as Taboo and Rico, who are litter mates.I have also seen this look in other persa/dogo lines.I beleive this is throwback look,it's not a common one.Only I can wait and see how it works out.We have 3 more males with that look of Rico. The newest is a son off Victor. Will post pic's soon.

ive noticed that presas come from 80 pounds to as high as 170. what is the big deal. if u have a working dog u want them at the 110-115 weight. but for protection some peope think the bigger the better. its personal preference and now and days it seems as if the presa standard is getting more and more various. so what realy is a presa now and days. a big dog with protection and prey drive and obedience is good enough. and isnt it true that any presa can get a championship in the us. as some people have told me on this board, showing presas is a joke in the us. im not being confrontational, these are quesions.

This kind of look (like the second dog from the top looks like) reminds me of Cane Corso. Don’t you think so?

;) I believe that the look that Hammer has is a throwback in his lines I have seen this look in many old island bloodlines.Far as size we like our dogs bitches between 23,24in and at 90to125lb,male24/12to26in and between 110to130 but hay that's what we like ;)
