First, thanks to John Rose and J.K. Kennels for hosting the Fulton, NY Club Trial. Also a special thanks to the Judges, Deb Hebeler and Butch Cappel, and the Decoys, Shawn Flipp, Glen Britton and Glenn Sharkey, without these excellent folks there we can’t play the game. Despite the rainy weather there was quite a turnout for the competition. Competitors from Michigan, Massachusetts, Maine, and New York were in attendance and reports from the scene indicate that a good time was had by all.

Now for what you all really want to know, who were the winners?

Congratulations to the following top finishers:

2. Rob Boudreau & Montauk (APBT)

3. John Rose & Fat Boy (AB)

4. Earl Graham & LaLa (CC)

5. Glenn Britton & Chyna (AB)

Congrats to all who competed and to those who put the trial on. I plan on competing in a K9PS event or two after I obtain my first goal. What is the oldest dog to have succesfully title in a K9PS event ?

Haven't kept records for the oldest dog, but this year Patricia Hairston brought "Bomber" APBT, the 1998 Pro division champ out of retirement to compete in Memphis. The little guy placed 2cd or 3rd, including a very inmpressive attack on the decoy in the back of a pick up truck.

Where most of the dogs were sent from the front of the truck and circled around to the rear, where the tailgate was down, to get the bad guy, little Bomber went on top of the hood, over the roof and nailed the decoy, who had turned to face the rear of the truck, in the back. Then he did a perfect out and guard as Patricia stood in the front of the truck and recalled him. If I remember right Bomber would be about a 10 year old, he may not be the oldest to title but he sure could be.
