hey butch i just got my presa pup about 4 days ago he had good weight when i got him , now he has lost alittle weight. i was wondering if this was natrual being as though he is in a new environment. please help because im worried.

I would say not uncommon, but still bears watching.
Litter seperation, enviromental change and change of dog food all can cause some intial weight and appetite loss.
Id give it about 3 days max. If the appetite and activity level don't pick up then check with the vet.
You can also get a rectal thermometer and check immediately for temp, if there is one you have an infection but this is unlikely, it is probably stress, Oh, the normal temp is about 101 to 102.

If you have diarhea try a tablespoon of Pepto Bismol twice a day. Kao Pectate works just as well.

Remember all the "advice" in the world can't match the comfort of hearing your own vet say "Nope, nothing wrong", I for one tend to "mother hen" puppies but they are the future so I give them all the concern and worry I can. I'm sure your pup will be fine in 48 hours and look forward to seeing some photos as he/she grows up.
