Hello everybody, I’m thinking to buy a puppy from Irema-Curto.
What do you think about their dogs? How was your experience with this kennel? Is puppy healthy, when the arrived? Are you happy with what you’ve got?
I’ll be happy any information you can give me.

Hi
You only have to look at the presa's on this site, to know how good Curto dogs are.
They are the best.
You can never completely guarentee any pups health, but Curto pups are a good place to start.
I have two young dogs coming over this year and hopefully more soon.
The Curto's are always ready to answer any emails, help with any questions you may have.
I have been to their kennels and was completely impressed, the love that these dogs have for Manuel is second to none. I stood with my husband in one kennel block, with about 15 dogs in it and could not hear Valeria speaking, Manuel whistled once and the whole block stopped, you could hear a pin drop. Then all of the dogs in the block looked to him for their next command, most people don't get that sort of respect from other people let alone their dogs.
I enjoy speaking to them and their enthusiam in the breed shows by their breed quality and love for these fantastic beast.
I do hope this helps in some way. I personally would not hesitate to purchase a Curto dog, but if you are unsure, then continue to look around before deciding.

Austin thank you for you answer.
I never doubt that hi has some of the best dogs I ever seen. But mine main concern is, in what conditions puppy arrived? Is it too stressful for puppy travel for 7 or more hours ? Did you experience any complications because of the travel?

My pup Caton arrived from Manuel Curto healthy and happy, with no problems at all, he was just a little tired after that long flight to JFK in NY.

i have to say that i am very happy with the pup that Valeria and Manuel Curto sent me. he is well mannered, healthy and a true Perro de Presa Canario. Dont let people tell you the Presa and the Dogo are the same breed, there not, i have seen with my own eyes now. i am not meaning this in a negitive way at all. their movement , structure , expression and temperment are very different. i love both breeds , as long as they are healthy functional dogs. Pharus is a beautiful healthy dogo, lucky for me!
but Minos is spectacular also. if i was to get another dog in the future i would definitly contact the Irema Curto kennels again. they are there for any support or stupid questions you may need to ask. just dont let them see photo's of your curto pup on the couch ! or you will hear about it from them(hehe)! ;)
