I love all of the stages of growth that these pups go through. Birth through eight weeks old they are very long and rectangular, About 8 to 9
they seem to be all foot and leg. Close to ten weeks they lengthen out again, then go through a leggy stage from this point to about 1 year to 1 1/2 years, then their head grows and they get longer. They start to thicken up and broaden at about 1 year.Their chest and head seem to be the last thing to develop. I visited Bagheera last night and she is looking good ! I will have some pictures soon ! ! Their feet and legs are huge
when they are puppies ! ! I came home from work today and saw 7 puppies (Poquito is at new home) who were waiting for playtime and food !
My personal opinion is Ten Weeks to Twelve weeks is the best time for puppies to go to their new homes. I know alot of people say eight weeks , but with fear periods and socialization, and imprinting needs it seems the extra two weeks are more prudent. Today I wore my glasses and and played with them, I need to find a wig and a beard and have playtime soon ! !
