UPDATE!!! :ok:
Looks like Rage will be going to a new home on 10 acres with some really nice people that are home full time and love to go on hikes. What a lucky guy he is going to be!

Hi Dana,
You might remember me, we spoke on the phone and via E-mail when I was trying to place a Presa that I pulled out of a local shelter here in PA.
Rich K suggested I get in touch with you. Ring a bell? Anyway I just joined this group and thought I'd say hi to you, BTW that rescue Presa did find a forever home....three guesses, and the first two don't count! LOL
I see you're still doing rescue, good for you. Well, I'm gonna lurk around for a while and see what kind of good info I can pick up.

TTYL,

Rich Bell

Hi Rich,
So nice to see you here! So I take it from you message you kept the dog?? If so tell us about him! I am still doing rescue and not breeding at this time. Just spending quality time with my dogs and really enjoying it! Rage got neutered today and will go to his new home in about a week when I'm sure he is healed up. Still looking for the right home for Britt, she is a doll so I'm in no hurry to adopt her out! I'd keep them all that doesn't leave room for new rescues.

Hi Dana,
Well this could be a very long post, but I'll spare everyone. Poppus Maximus (AKA: Poppy) is an amazing Dog, I have no doubt that he could win ANY K-9 athletic compitition he entered, the only thing that stops him is his EXTREME prey drive/MDA. He is very bright, and possibly the quickest learner that I have ever trained. My mother teaches him new tricks every day, and she's not a Dog person. Go figure! All of the children in my neighborhood adore him (and he them) and all of the parents are afraid of him, I guess it's hard to change human nature/ignorance. He loves my 2 females (Chow & Akita) and they all get along fine. The only problem I have with him is walking,...I have to get up very early and stay up late to walk him so as to minimize the chances of encountering other Male Dogs. The only health issues have been that I now have to amputate about 40% of his tail due to "tail trauma" that after 2yrs just won't heal. The surgery will be in the Spring. I'll post more later. I want to close by telling everyone that Richard Kelly has helped me quite a bit during this process, his advice has been invaluable.
